Whats the best way to save off the computer?

That’s gonna be allot of disks and my cd writer isn’t the best so I was wondering about alternative storage. I’d like to be able to save and remove most of the photos from my computer to free up the space on the hard drive. (spending as little money as possible too)

Oh, I have dial up so uploading them to the net is pretty much out of the question.
They are mostly pictures if family and horse pictures I’ve collected. I’d like to be able to back up my enitre computer also but that is a seperate issue. I want to remove the pics for space issues and I want to be able to do a full back up for emergancys. Thanks!
